Dr. Walden Balances Motherhood and Career

Dr. Jennifer Walden, a top astethic plastic surgeon, has come home to Austin. She has been named one of the 24 best beauty surgeons in the United States by Harper’s Bazaar. She has trained with the best in New York and even established a successful practice in Manhattan. On top of her achievements, she has also been the only woman to be named to the board of directors of American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. She is close to her family and a single mother who has been honest about her balancing act.

Dr. Walden describes herself as a caring and empathetic person. She feels for her patients who want to look better. She helps her patients feel better with her confidence and smile. She has worked hard to get where she is, but she has not neglected her patients and their needs. Dr. Walden could have stayed in New York, but when she become a single mother, she moved back home to her family for support.

Dr. Walden has been a determined doctor since early in her career. She was wait-listed for medical school, but she was determined not to be second choice. She graduated top of her class and went to med school as planned. Her fellowship is what caused the move to New York, and she might have stayed there if it weren’t for her sons. She moved to Austin to be close to her family and started over.

The process of starting over was not easy. Dr. Walden needed to find a balancing act between her demanding career and the demands of motherhood. Dr. Walden continues to be recognized as the best in her field.
